Yes, airplanes do fly and now Ollie knows this too! His mama taught him that airplanes fly by demonstrating the wings with her arms. Of course our mimic picked up his wings, swayed side to side and told everyone that airplanes fly. Apparently, airplanes fly repeatedly because he entertained his Aunt for quite awhile. He doesn't get the idea that airplanes also run around the room with there wings out. They are stationary in Ollie's world. I'm just hoping the airplane doesn't start dropping bombs in his pants.
I couldn't get him to repeat the performance this morning for the sitter, he always clams up when we get there. After I leave he returns to his normal self within a few minutes. Maybe airplanes will fly at the sitters after all.
