Tired But Better

Ollie had problems sleeping last night from about 1 - 3. We tried bringing him into our bed, but he was just playing. So, he went back to his own bed. He howled like we had hurt him. He fell asleep for a little while then about 2, he woke up again. I took him to the couch to try and get him to sleep in there. We kicked Zoey out of her bed to lay down. He played with the blanket, then his feet, then he went back to his own bed to howl again. Finally, some time around 3 he howled again. I just moved him around in the bed and let him how until he fell back asleep. He slept all the way through what was left of the night.

This morning he woke up groggy, but not as crabby as he had been. He also didn't have mucus in his eyes. It appears we've avoided a doctors visit. I'm hoping that his teeth pushed through and that is what was causing his discomfort. We can't check of course, unless we want to be missing digits.

As his Mom said this morning, it is good preparation for the sleeplessness we will have with the new baby in June.
