That would be our son. He has bruises and scratches everywhere. His head, arms and legs are the most common areas for them. They make him look like we don't give him a bath very often because his skin is in a constant state of healing. He bumps into things and falls all the time, so it is no surprise they are there. Unless it is a major boo-boo, he usually doesn't cry about it. He seems to be one tough boy.
The scratches usually come from the cats, who he constantly pets (pests). They will usually tolerate his nice petting for a few minutes, but they'll take their swipes at him when they get tired of being smacked. He's been bitten a few times, but they haven't drawn blood. He never gives up, even after he has been bitten. Sometimes they are smart enough to leave the room, but it doesn't happen often. The entire house is filled with stubborn people and animals. It's a wonder anything gets done.
