Movie Buff

Watching movies in his Aunt Annie's room is now Ollie's nightly routine. He gets dinner and a bath then it is time to watch 'his' movie.

"Start my movie", he says right after dinner.

He has watched the same 10 movies over and over. At least parts of movies, he keeps returning to the living room to play and asking us to watch the movie with him. After we make our escape from the movie room, occasionally we'll him laugh at something in the movie. Then he'll run in and tell us he wants a different movie since he has only watched 10 minutes of his first choice. We end up putting a limit on the number of movies he tries to watch in a night. It hasn't gotten past 3. He'll get bored with it eventually and want to watch the other movies we have. There aren't too many of them that are appropriate for his age.

In a few years we'll attempt a theatre showing of some epic children's movie with popcorn and pop. Hopefully he won't try to run around during his first theatre experience.
